Nails of the Week: Wet N’ Wild’s I Red A Good Book and Nicole by OPI Kardashian Kolors in Disco Dolls

Here’s what came in my Mystery Bag this month:

I was guaranteed to get at least 2 pieces from the collection, so I was pretty excited when I got 3 :)

I was hoping to be one of the 5 people that get the entire May Collection, or one of the few that gets clothes and whatever else they had extra but I’m really happy with what I got.

I don’t know the name of this ring, but it’s really pretty. I like that it has soft coral colors on the front, perfect for Spring.

These “LOVE” rings are so adorable and they look really great stacked on one finger. Amazing :)

Last but not least, the Yves rings. These can be worn stacked on top of one another or alone, but either way they’re really pretty. I especially like the one on the left with the keyhole, cute.

• Naked 2 Palette by Urban Decay - I felt like I was neglecting this palette so I’ve been trying to use it more often. I have a few favorite shades, like YDK, Busted, Pistol and Blackout. Overall though, it’s a really great palette. The shades in this palette are more cool colors, while the Naked Palette has warm colors. So it’s nice to mix it up every now and then.
• NARS Sheer Glow Foundation in Barcelona- I absolutely LOVE this foundation. It works perfectly with my dry skin. It also provides really great coverage and I don’t have to use too much. I bought a pump for it and I need one-two pumps for my whole face. I wear it throughout my entire 9 hour work day and by the end of the day it still looks great, and it doesn’t make my skin feel greasy.
• Wet N’ Wild Megalast Nail Polish in Tropicalia - I have been wearing this color on my nails for a good 2 weeks because I just love it so much. It’s a bright pink-coral and it’s very flattering with my skin tone.
• Lush Celestial Facial Moisturizer - I’ve been looking for a good nighttime moisturizer for my dry skin and this is the one that Flor recommended to me. This stuff is amazing! I love everything about it. I’ve been using it every night since I got it and it has done wonders for my skin. When I wake up in the morning, my skin has the perfect amount of moisture and it also looks brighter. It also smells just like almond milk.
• Bare Minerals Oil-Control Primer - I was skeptical at first when the lady at Sephora gave me this free sample because my skin isn’t oily, and I think the only reason why she thought my skin was oily was because I had put on my morning moisturizer just minutes before I got to the store, haha. However, I really like that when I use this it keeps my skin looking very matte throughout the day and I only use a little bit each time.

That’s awesome! I haven’t gotten mine yet either. I’m assuming that they’ll ship out once they’re available at Macy’s next month, and they’ll probably send a confirmation email to let everyone know when they ship them. Stay tuned! :)

It’s going to be at Macy’s Department stores next month and I do not know when they’ll be sending the free samples to the first 100,000 that registered.

My Social Media Community Manager at work gets a lot of free swag for all the hard work she does, and she loves to share them with me :D

Today she received a couple of packages from LifeProof customers/ advocates. One of them works for a skin care line called Epicuren, and he definitely hooked her up with so much stuff! She knows how much I love skin care products, so she gave me a bunch of free samples!

I got some Mandarin Orange Body Scrub, Relief Arnica Cream, and Phyt02 Hydration Serum.   

Just in case you were wondering, Arnica cream is used to soothe sore, tired muscles and heal bruises. That would’ve been nice to have when I was working as a Visuals Specialist at BR. I had so many bruises! The Phyt02 Hydration Serum is a potent age fighting therapy that keeps skin looking youthful.

She and I were so thrilled by how well known and expensive their brand is that we went back to their website, here, and looked into some more products so that we could ask for more! haha

I’ve never heard of Headhunter either, but free is free right?! This brand was made by professional Surfers. That must be why the SPF is so high! I’ll probably use these Face Stick Balms for when I go to the beach.

They’re a company that is linked to the App called Instagram. You log into your account on the website and choose which photos you want to be printed out as magnets. Great idea, right?! I thought so too :)

I just got my first order (yes, I will definitely be getting more!) They deliver them as a sheet of 9 pictures that can be easily detached. For one sheet, it’s $14.99 and the shipping is free!

The hardest part was choosing which photos I wanted to be printed out. After quite some time though, I finally settled on 9 that I really wanted so that I can put them up at my desk at work and some to keep in my room.

The size of each magnet is the actual size it shows up on your iPhone screen (not sure if it’s the same for Android users)

I can’t wait to put these up, they’re so cute!! I love them :)
