Hey there! My name is Steffi. I am a 24 year old girl from San Diego, CA. My blog is an outlet for me to share my love for the art of makeup, fashion, beauty and just a little bit of everything else that I enjoy in my life. I have an irrational fear of wasting a good outfit on an insignificant day. Follow @stefffles |

It’s that time again! Here are my favorites for May:
Revlon just came out with a new lip product called, Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain. Naturally, I was intrigued and I had to pick one up. I played it safe by getting a soft rosy shade, 001 Honey Douce.

I have never used a lip stain before, but I know that this balm stain combines a lip stain with a moisturizing balm. I’ve been wearing it for the past few hours and I really like it. It’s extremely lightweight, like I’m sure a lip stain would be, but the moisturizing balm part of it is nice because it doesn’t dry out my lips.
I want another one…

I hope you enjoyed my March Favorites!

This is what happens when you leave a Revlon Lip Butter in your makeup bag.
I don’t even leave my purse in hot areas. I’m always in cool dry places.
Met up with a couple of my friends for brunch this morning in Carlsbad.

Went to 2 different Ulta’s today and found a few more Hunger Games nail polish colors, and I also got Aquadelic because I’ve heard a lot of great things about this color. So pretty for Spring. The Revlon Colorburst lipsticks were buy one get one 50% off, True Red and Rosy Nude. I got a Wet N’ Wild single eyeshadow in Kitten and a NYX number eye pencil in Milk. I’ve been looking for nice work clothes, so when I saw this soft pink dress at H&M, I had to get it.

Oh and I joined the ULTA club! Whooooo!!

Some products change depending on the occasion, but just for everyday use I bring these items.
I keep the products that I use the most on top of my Vanity. My foundation, powder, brushes, blush, eyeliner, mascara, the lip butters I use the most, etc.

Then I keep the stuff that doesn’t fit on top of my Vanity in drawers underneath my table.

Since my Naked Palettes don’t fit inside my drawers I keep them on top, next to my box of makeup remover towelettes.

In the first drawer, I have my elf blushes and gel liners, L’oreal Infallible eyshadows and my Urban Decay Ammo eyeshadow palette. In the second, I have all my Maybelline Cream Tattoos and the shadow applicators I use to apply them.

In the third drawer, I have all my lipsticks and lip butters. The fourth drawer has all my 8 pan Wet N’ Wild palettes, the baked palettes with the eyeliner pencils that came with them, a few single eyeshadows and my NYX glitter palette. The fifth drawer has all my Wet N’ Wild Trios and the last drawer has all my extra lip glosses and faux lashes.
I know that this product has been talked to death all over makeup blogs but I wanted to make one too to show which colors work for my skin tone, so that anyone with similar skin tone will know before getting these what colors will work for them.
I’m Filipino and Native American so I’m warm toned with an olive undertone.

In this photo I have Sugar Frosting, (I’m sorry about my swatch, it’s really light on my skin, as well as my lips) Strawberry Shortcake and Sweet Tart.
I’ve found that these colors are the ones that are hard for me to make work, I’m determined to be able to get them to look right though so I’ll hold onto them and keep trying.

Here I have Creme Brûlée, Peach Parfait, and Pink Truffle.
Peach Parfait has been my go to for a neutral lip for when I’m wearing bold colorful eyeshadow. And Pink Truffle is extremely close to my natural lip color so I wear it when I’m just wearing casual everyday makeup so that it evens out the color of my lips, because sometimes my top lip is darker than my bottom lip.

In this photo I have Tutti Fruiti, Candy Apple, Cherry Tart, and Red Velvet.
I think that Tutti Fruiti is the perfect coral color for me and I’m in LOVE with Candy Apple. Cherry Tart has a bit of a shimmer to it, like Peach Parfait, but it’s subtle. And Red Velvet is a deep sexy red.

Finally I have Berry Smoothie, Lollipop, and Raspberry Pie.
Berry Smoothie is great to wear for an everyday look especially when paired with a light neutral eye. Lollipop is one of my faves that I like to wear for date nights with my boyfriend (he likes the shade) and Raspberry Pie is a beautiful dark fuchsia.
Right now, I’m using the Urban Decay Primer Potion that came with my Naked Palette and it’s the only eyeshadow primer that I’ve ever used. I have no complaints. It’s an amazing product.
Before I got it, I was using my Revlon PhotoReady concealer as eyeshadow primer, which works really well too.
My favorite would have to be Revlon’s PhotoReady concealer in Light to Medium. I’ve been using this for about a month now and I’ve found that it works really well covering up my acne scars. However, when I use it to try to cover my dark under eye circles it settles in the lines and it looks off. So now I have to use 2 concealers! haha I just recently bought Maybelline’s Instant Age Rewind concealer in Medium and I’ve only used it twice but so far it works really well for my dark circles.

I call this the Makeup Collection for Newbies
I like to keep my day time look very neutral but still girly. My go to eyeshadow palette is Walking on Eggshells by Wet N’ Wild, because it’s neutral with a little bit of pink. I also use Maybelline’s Dream Bouncy Blush in Pink Plum to get a natural rosy flush on my cheeks. Then I top it off with Revlon’s Colorburst Lip Butter in Peach Parfait.

I’m in love with Revlon’s Colorburst Lip Butter in Lollipop, this shade works so well with my skin tone.
